Minerva was born September 13, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Jabour and Elizabeth (nee Yared) Kallil. On October 11, 1944, Minerva married Emmett Cook in Toledo. Emmett preceded Minerva in death on July 22, 1966.

He was born on April 4, 1941 in Chicago, the son of Ralph Sr. and Agnes (Bujnowski) Fischer.
He married Jean Lucarz in 1988 in Bloomfield WI.
